The worlds first bridge bungy. Want to jump off a bridge? This is the way to do it!!
The Original Bungy Jump - 43m above the crystal clear waters of the Kawarau River, Queenstown, New Zealand. If you don't find the amazing breath taking view enough, try jumping with an optional dunk in the water - you can get dunked all the way up to your waist, you crazy, extreme, adrenalin loving backpacker you!
While you are there, check out the new AJ Hackett Bungy Dome. It takes visitors on a journey through the emotive states of a bungy jump and has been designed to provide those who choose not to jump an insight into why thousands of people take on the personal challenge of bungy in Queenstown every year.

Duration
- Allow 2hrs 30 minutes round trip from Queenstown. The Kawarau bungy bridge is 20 minutes drive from central Queenstown
Departures
- 9am, 12pm, 3pm
- Departs from inside The Station building on the corner of Shotover and Camp streets, central Queenstown
Other Information
- You can jump solo or tandem
- You must wear closed toe footwear (ie. runners). No sandals or flip flops
- Dress warmly, the site is sometimes sheltered from the sun
- Minimum age is 10 years with a minimum weight of 35kg
- Children 16 years and under must have written consent from a parent or guardian
- Spectators free transport to the Kawarau bridge or drive yourself
