Description
The 3rd closest Ski field from Queenstown. Only 1 hour 15 minutes drive by car (you may need chains) or take the bus. The road is sealed from town to the mountain turn off, then its an unsealed mountain road (13 km). Located between Wanaka and Queenstown in the Southern Alps of New Zealand. A high ski resort renowned among skiers and snowboarders for dry snow and wide slopes. Setting the highest standards and leading the way forward among New Zealand ski resorts.
Miles of wide open slopes inspire, steep chutes surprise. Voted New Zealand's rider choice for the past three years. Known for its dry, natural snow and wide, open slopes.
Opening Dates
Due to open on 27th June 2007 (provided there is sufficent snow). Due to close on 12th October 2007 (If snow conditions are still good the mountain may stay open later).

Getting there
Drive yourself or take the Gravity Action ski bus. Bookings are essential.
Chains
If you are driving yourself, chains are often required, these are available to hire or buy from several petrol stations and ski shops in central Queenstown.

Prices
There are a many different passes available, we have tried to simplfy the options to make it as easy as possible for you to book. Generally most people want day lift passes or lesson packages. However you can also get half day passes (12.30pm - 4pm). Please contact us if you require more information about any of these products.

All First Time and Achievement packs except the 5 day achievement packs are sold for consecutive days. If the mountain closes due to bad weather a standard refund applies.
First Time: The lesson includes you in a group of other first timers and teaches you how to master sliding, stopping and turning safely and effectively on our gentle slopes. By the end of the day you should be ready for, or even riding, the MacDougall's Quad chair to the top of the mountain. Lessons are at 10.30am and 2pm.
Includes: A Lift Pass to ride the beginner lifts, skis, boots and poles or snowboard and boots, and 2 X 2 hour group lessons.
2 & 3 Day Option: 1st day is same as 1 day First Time pack, with a full mountain pass and 1 group lesson on day 2 and 3.
Achievement: The better you are the more you will enjoy the slopes this holiday. Your lift pass provides access to the entire mountain, great gear is included and you catch up with one of the best instructors in a social and team environment to work on your technique.
