Milford Sound (Piopiotahi) is without doubt his finest sculpture. Whatever the fiord’s mood, teeming with rain or with sun glistening on deep water, it will inspire you.
When the day visitors depart a silence descends. An overnight cruise amidst spectacular Milford Sound, is a ‘once in a lifetime’ experience.
Real Journeys offers two overnight cruise options at Milford Sound. Each cruise offers passengers a relaxing opportunity to explore the magnificent scenery and wildlife of Milford Sound. They do differ in terms of accommodation – Milford Mariner private cabins with ensuite bathrooms (60 passengers) and Milford Wanderer shared bunk accommodation (61 passengers).
The Milford Mariner offers you a very special dinner, bed and breakfast experience. On board the Milford Mariner, you will cruise the full length of this spectacular fiord to the Tasman Sea before anchoring for the night in sheltered Harrison Cove. With our nature guide you can go exploring in the tender craft and kayaks or simply relax on deck. After the day's activities, enjoy a delicious evening buffet in the spacious saloon before retiring to your private cabin.

- Please note that the Mariner has private cabins that sleep 2 people
- If you are travelling on your own please book sole occupancy which means you get a cabin on your own. Alternatively you can book a bunk bed on the Milford Wanderer
- If you wish to book the flight back from Milford Sound to Queenstown please select 'Adult + flight back' option
- Infants under 12 months old travel for free. Please bring your own cot
- During September and May only operates Mon, Wed, Fri
- Dress warmly and don't forget your camera
- Free tea and coffee is available on the cruise boat as well as a fully licensed bar and dinner and breakfast
