Everything Queenstown Comments

Cardrona is a wide open, feel good ski field and regarded by many as having the driest and nicest snow in New Zealand. A fantastic place to learn how to ski or snowboard with plenty of room and open spaces and nowhere near as many crowds compared with Coronet Peak or The Remarkables. It has an awesome terrain park and 2 massive half pipes for the jibbers but also miles of easy to medium level terrain that makes boarding and skiing fun!
It's a bit further away than Coronet Peak and The Remarkables, taking about an hour door to door, but if the conditions are good and there has been a fresh dump of snow then there's no better place to ride!

Check out the great ski and snowboard packages available at Cardrona that will save you plenty of $$. If you don't need a lift pass or mountain transport then check out the Skis, Boards & Clothing Rental

Don't worry about hiring a car to drive up the mountain. The roads are icy and quite treacherous. Catch the ski shuttle instead.
