Description

Test your skills and adrenalin levels just on the verge of Queenstown by taking the controls of a 4x4 buggy through rugged and steep terrain. Just 5 minutes out of the heart of Queenstown lies an epic range of 4x4 buggy tour trails. Come face to face with the shear power and agility of these tough machines as you navigate them through the rugged landscape including steep mountain climbs, creek crossings and forest trails. At the same time enjoy phenomenal views of the Queenstown region.

Challenger Self Drive Guided Buggy Tour (1 hour buggy time)
Having acquired the skills in the training arena to navigate these versatile buggy's your guide will lead you on an adrenaline packed, off road adventure through tracks and trails to stunning view points over Queenstown. You will get to test the full capabilities of this machine in action and will be rewarded with endless fun, excitement and off road adrenaline rushes with some of the most spectacular views you could imagine. With over 25 years of off road guiding experience and top of the range off road buggies you could not be in better hands. Just try and wipe the smile off your face at the end!

Prices listed are per vehicle. Two customers can be accommodated per vehicle; one driver and one front seat passengers. In the four seater family buggy one driver can be accommodated with three passengers, one in the front and two in the back.

Trip Includes

• Return transfers from the Off Road Adventures shop in Queenstown 
• 1 hour 4x4 self drive buggy tour 
• Late model 4x4 machines, helmet, eye protection & gloves provided
• Stunning scenery overlooking the Queenstown region

Duration

• Allow 1.5 hours (including transfers)

Departures

• 10am, 12pm & 2pm
• Departs Off Road shop, 61a Shotover St, Queenstown
• Operates daily all year

Other Information

• Minimum passenger age is 4years old 
• Drivers must be 18 years of age with a full drivers licence
• No licence or experience required for passengers
• Each driver will be required to sign a $3000 insurance excess agreement for the vehicle (against a credit card) at time of check-in, in case of damage
• Maximum of 14 people (2 people per buggy) or 28 people (4 people per buggy) per trip
• Wear long pants & socks
• Bring water, snacks & sunglasses
• Don't forget your camera
• Operating hand held cameras during this tour is not permitted
• Please note in the "additional information" field at the time of booking if there are 2 drivers
