Hi Jim. The flight to Milford & back including up to 3 landings is 45 minutes each way so the entire trip takes 1.5 hours. The cost is $680 per adult and your 1 year old child travels for free. I would definitely recommend doing the cruise on Milford sound also. There is a great combo called the Milford Fly Cruise Heli which you can find on our site and includes a 45 minute flight to Milford in a small fixed wing plane, a 2 hour cruise on Milford Sound (+ lunch is an optional extra) and a 45 minute helicopter flight back to Queenstown with a landing.
