This winter presents a fantastic opportunity to board Queenstown’s most iconic ship, the TSS Earnslaw for a special evening boat cruise around the picturesque Frankton Arm. Relax aboard this classic steamship, enjoying a perfect pre-dinner cruise before returning back to Queenstown’s Steamer Wharf to enjoy the rest of your evening.
This leisurely 90 minute cruise on Lake Wakatipu and Frankton Arm allows you to absorb the spectacular alpine beauty the local scenery has to offer, during the evening hours.
Aboard the famous TSS Earnslaw boat cruise departing Queenstown, you will be able to kick back and enjoy some food alongside a complimentary beer from the local Canyon Brewery, a glass of wine or a soft drink at the lovely Promenade cafe and bar.
Additionally, you will have the opportunity to explore the vessel and visit the working engine room of the TSS Earnslaw, which is something to marvel at after over 100 hundred years of operations. Throughout the vessel, you will be able to view the collection of historical photos depicting the story of the TSS Earnslaw and how it intertwines with the history of Queenstown, Lake Wakatipu and the Frankton Arm.
