Latest Questions about Mountain Biking - Fat Tyre Heli Biking

Can we bring our own bikes? Will it reduce the price?

Comments

Hi Conrad, yes you certainly can take your own bikes on the Fat Tyre Heli Biking rides. This does not however reduce the price as you are paying for the helicopter time and on these trips the bikes are provided free of charge.

Hi guys,
Will arrive in queenstown on march 11 and will be leaving on 15th.
Would love to book a roaring meg but I am only one person.
Hopefully a spare spot will come up.
Please keep in touch.
Kind regards
Brett Holmes.

Hey there, I am interested in the Cadrona Helibike bike trip but am a bit concerned about what your understanding off "intermediate" skills would be. I have been mountainbiking for 10 years now. last 4 been downhill. Owned a Glory 1 and have had some experience in jumping but however getting a bit old for big hits now (45) Therefore hoping it's still the type of ride that would be enjoyable without having to hop off all the time......e.g. are there big jumps/drop offs on this run?

Comments

Hi Roger. Mate, sounds like you have more than enough skills and experience to enjoy the Cardrona helibiking. There are no drop offs or big hits at all and the guides will really cater for your abilities and requirements. Were you thinking of doing the ride with a few friends or is it just yourself at this stage? There are minimum numbers required for the helibiking to go ahead so if you can let me know what dates you were thinking of I can see if there are any confirmed heli bike trips that have other riders already booked on.

Do you provide cycling s%~s or are we required to bring them or do we just wear sneakers??

Comments

Hi Andrija, if you have cycling shoes please bring them with you to the Fat Tyre Heli Biking, but also bring a pair of sneakers as well in case they will not work.
