Description
Remarkable Scenic Tours take you on a guided tour of Queenstown and Arrowtown. With your guide doing the driving you can sit back, relax and take it all in. The afternoon tour shows you the sights along with tasting some of the regions amazing produce.
To start the tour your guide will take you to Queenstown Hill for a photo stop. Following this you will head to a real local honey farm to see the bees at work and learn about different types of honey with tastings of Manuka, Rata and Clover honey.
Lake Hayes, also known as The Mirror Lake, is the next stop where you can take some amazing photos of the mountains and lake before heading on to the home of bungy! The Kawarau Bridge was built in 1988 and has been credited with pioneering Queenstown's reputation as "the adventure capital of the world.". Stop to photograph the historic bridge and watch the excited bungy jumpers as your guide shows you where The Gates of Argonath stood in The Lord of the Rings movie.
After the Kawarau Bungy Bridge, you will head to Arrowtown where your guide will show you the Chinese Village, the old Goal and other historic landmarks. You will have over an hours free time to explore the town and your guide will give you tips on the best food spots, shopping and photograph spots.
As you travel back to Queenstown you will drive by Millbrook golf course, Coronet Peak ski field and the Shotover River where you can see the infamous Shotover Jet!
