Arrowtown to Queenstown
Take a scenic shuttle to the starting point of your self guided tour in Arrowtown. Your driver will talk you through the best routes and spots to see as well as hidden local highlights along the route. We recommend stopping for a bite to eat in Arrowtown before setting off along the Arrow, Kawarau and Shotover Rivers. During this ride you will see Arrowtown, Lower Shotover, Frankton, Lord of the Rings scenery, gold mining sights and famous bridges. This ride is suitable for intermediate and experienced riders. With no time restrictions you can ride at your own pace. The trail from Arrowtown to Queenstown is approximately 20-35km depending on your chosen route.
Frankton/Kelvin Heights/Jack's Point to Queenstown
With this option you can choose to be dropped off in Frankton for an easy 7km ride, Kelvin Heights for a moderate 14km ride or Jack’s Point for a challenging 23km ride, the choice is yours! Along these routes you can enjoy views of Lord of the Rings scenery, award winning golf courses and much more.
Gibbston Valley Wineries
Take a shuttle from Queenstown to Arrowtown or Morven Ferry intersection for a longer ride suitable for the intermediate to experienced rider, or head straight to the Gibbston area to start exploring straight away. Explore the valley by bike, visiting the wineries at your own pace. There are a number to choose from including Gibbston Valley, Chard Farm, Peregrine, Mt Rosa, Waitiri Creek/Cargo Brewery, Peregrine, Gibbston Tavern, Gibbston Valley Cheese experience and many more. After your self guided tour your driver will pick you up and drive you back to your accommodation. Pick ups are from 5pm onwards. On this tour you can bike anywhere from 2km to 20km, depending on your preference.
