The Walter Peak BBQ Lunch & Lake Cruise in Queenstown has ramps fitted to board and disembark the TSS Earnslaw boat to take you across to Walter Peak for the BBQ dinner. These ramps can be a little steep depending on how high the lake level is. When you arrive at Walter peak station there is a path and ramp to the dining area, however be aware the path is very small loose gravel so some assistance may be required.

The Earnslaw returns 3.5 hours after departure. So if you are on the 2pm cruise and BBQ then you will return back to Queenstown wharf by 5.30pm. If you book the 6pm dinner cruise then you will get back to the wharf around 9.30pm. Alternatively if you don't wish to eat lunch or dinner then you can do the cruise only which is 1.5 hours return.
