The Heli Gin Tour with Altitude Tours is a unique Queenstown experience combining the thrill of a helicopter flight with gin tastings at 3 boutique venues. Gin lovers will get to enjoy a scenic helicopter flight to the top of a mountain, where you will take part in an exclusive tasting of one of New Zealand's most delicious and premium gins. Make sure to have your camera ready to capture the novelty of gin tasting with panoramic views of Queenstown!
Your helicopter flight will then continue over the Cardrona Valley to arrive in style at the gin tour's first venue, Cardrona Distillery. Here, you will be welcomed on a VIP tour of the distillery, lead by a knowledgeable gin expert and finishing with a private tasting.
The gin tour continues in a small group Mercedes Sprinter, with a scenic drive back towards Queenstown. Stop off on the Crown Range to marvel at breathtaking views of the Queenstown's mountains, rivers and lakes. You will then arrive in Arrowtown, a historic mining town that is home to "The Winery' - your next gin tasting venue. Choose between gin or wine tasting and graze on a delicious shared grazing board.
The final stop on the Queenstown heli-gin tour is the Broken Heart Gin Garden, a boutique gin bar with a beautiful backstory. Taste a series of gins here and tuck into a tarte flambee, before the tour returns back to central Queenstown.
