Hi There,
I was curious if there would still be the opportunity to do a alpine snow landing in the period of 9-11 of October, or is this too late in the season?

Hi,
i am looking for a trip to propose to my girlfriend. what are your bookings like in November and would there still be the possibility of getting a snow landing then?
Comments
Hi Travis, firstly what an incredible idea- you have all the girls in the office swooning! Absolutely, there's guaranteed snow even in Summer, but November is the start of our busy period so I would definitely recommend booking in advance if you're interested. Good luck!
Hey. Me and my partner are going to book, does everyone get a window seat? How does this work. Cheers
Comments
Hi Dylan, The layout of the Helicopter is 4 seats across the back and 2 in the front. For safety reasons the seating plan is weight dependent to make sure the Heli is balanced. However, if you don't get a window seat, there's only one person to look over to see the spectacular views :) Warm Regards, Sally
I'm a single person and would like to do the heli line alpine snow landing. How much is the cost and how frequent are the services

Yes you can certainly book on the alpine snow landing helicopter flight from Queenstown. Did you want to book the helicopter for just yourself or are you happy for some other travellers to join you? If you want to privately charter the helicopter for just yourself then the cost would be $1250, or if you are happy to have some other travellers in the helicopter with you then the cost is $310. There are generally a few flights each day and this includes return transfers from your Queenstown accommodation.
Wanting to do this flight for anniversary & it's early March will there be a snow landing or some of it as I know it's autumn as I have seen in pictures? Do the pilots pick good spots for snow peak pictures?
Comments
Yes March is the first month of autumn in Queenstown and generally no snow around in town as its one one of the warmer months however the pilots guarantee to find snow in a spot where they can land the helicopter. The views of Queenstown from the heli and landing spot will be stunning.
Will there be snow at the end of April for us to land on?
Comments
Hi Danielle, yes for the Alpine Snow Landing flight you will still land in snow however please note there may not be a lot of it around where you land. If you are wanting a good coverage of snow all around then you are best to do the Glacier Landing flight at this time of year in Queenstown - http://www.everythingqueenstown.com/helicopter-flight-glacier-landing-14/.
Do they still have special offer in Jan 2016?
Comments
Yes the Alpine Snow Landing Helicopter special in Queenstown will be continuing in 2016.
We are a group of 7 including a 1 year old child and two older children aged 6 n 10. Can we all be accomodated in one chartered hrlicopter flight
Comments
Hi Rupali. The helicopters in Queenstown seat up to 6 passengers plus the pilot. Small children under 3 years old can sit on your lap which means that if you wanted to book a charter helicopter flight for all of you then this would work as you have 4 adults, 2 kids and 1 infant (who can sit on a lap). The most cost effective way for you to book this flight is to book the Charter Flight option rather than booking individual seats.

Hi. While October is later on in the season, there is still a good opportunity to be able to do an Alpine landing that has some snow. While this is not guaranteed, your pilot will be able to use their expert local knowledge to give you the best opportunity for a preferred landing spot.
