Fish is always fun and enjoyable if you get fish. Of course, no fish guarantee I agree with. But if you go out like 4 times, how many fish do you usually have? Can you keep the fish if you get someone. What fish we go for ?Thank you for answers

Regards Christer

The fish in lake Wakatipu in Queenstown are brown trout and rainbow trout as well as some salmon. The number of fish you'll catch varies but I've never known Stu the skipper to not come back with at least one fish! Yes you are welcome to keep any legally sized fish if you wish to cook it up after.

Hi Stu,
Just checking availability for fishing/trolling Wednesday 22 March? We are a group of a dozen blokes on a golf trip for a week. At this stage only have 2 starters but this could be more. Let me know what your availability looks like on this day please. Could you also let me know historically what March is like for fishing in your area.
Thanks.

the fishing which we do, do we have to leave the fish back into the water or we can take it home once we buy it?

Hi Yatish

With Stu DEver fishing trips in Queenstown, you get to keep the fish. In fact, your fishing guide will clean the fish for you and suggest some restaurants in town that will cook your fish for you or you can take it back to your accommodation and cook it yourself.

Hi Stu. We've booked a family holiday for next year 2013,2-11 August. Both my Mum and myself like to fish. Not brilliant but just like the fish thing... :) My Mum is dead keen on catching a trout...I have explained the difficulty in this...Would you please give me some quotes (or round abouts) fishing tours. I believe you have a few options. Must be cold in Queenstown, 'cause it's raining and cold in Brisbane! Kind regards Tammy Mutimer 0421722127

Hi
I'm staying at the Goldridge hotel on the 2nd and 3rd of May on a tour of NZ and would like to try my hand at fishing on the lake.
If i contact you when i arrive what are the chances of getting on the boat the next day?
Cheers
John

Comments

Hi John, May is generally not a very busy time in Queenstown so it may be fine to contact us when you arrive however we do recommend booking in advance as we can't guarantee there will still be space if booking only a day ahead.
