Description

Flying over Milford Sound in a helicopter will give you breathtaking views of the fiordland from a different perspective. Flying from Queenstown you will get to see lakes, mountains, glaciers and the rainforest below you. On the way to Milford your pilot will land on a glacier or in the mountains for you to step out and take some photos of the scenery.

Landing in Milford you will board the Mitre Peak Cruises boat to explore the area by water. Travelling the entire length of the fiordland you will be surrounded by stunning waterfalls, towering mountains, beautiful flora and fauna as well as wildlife such as seals, penguins, birds and dolphins if you're lucky!

After the cruise it's a return flight to Queenstown via a different route so you get to experience new and exciting scenery.

• 40 minute helicopter flight to Milford Sound with an alpine landing
• 2 hour scenic cruise on Milford Sound with Mitre Peak Cruises
