Latest Questions about Paragliding - Skytrek Summer Paragliding

My husband and I are looking to do the Coronet Peak Summer paraglide with you when we visit in a few weeks.
We are curious if some of our family could drive themselves out to Coronet Peak to watch?
Could we meet you out at the ski base building ? Or do we need to get equipment etc. at the starting point on Camp Street.
Thank you,
Lisa

How much time should we allow for this activity

Comments

The paragliding with Skytrek in Queenstown departs from Coronet Peak (which is a 15 minute drive out of Queenstown). The entire trip, including transport to and from Coronet Peak, as well as about 10-15 minutes flight time, takes about 90 minutes door to door. Free transfers from central Queenstown are included.

Can a 10 year’s old boy do paragliding or skytrek?

Comments

Hi!

Thank you so much for your question about the Skytrek Summer Paragliding.

Your son is more than welcome to join this amazing experience. Skytrek has flown passengers aged 4 to 84. Passengers aged 16 or under require parent's or guardian's permission.

Im interested in the paragliding from coronet peak. Can 2 people come up and watch? Is this included in the town pick up or ca. they meet you somewhere up the top?

Comments

Thanks so much for your enquiry about Skytrek Paragliding from Coronet Peak. The pick-up for this activity is in town, and SOMETIMES they can cater for spectators but cannot guarantee space in the van. Alternatively, if the spectators have a vehicle then they can drive themselves to watch you.

Will I be able to see the lake?

Comments

Heya. If you paraglide with Skytrek you will not really see the lake the location is more views of the mountains which is seriously amazing. If you wish to have views of Queesntown and lake wakatipu you would need to book with Gforce.
