For the ultimate views of Wanaka along with a breathtaking experience, paragliding from the top of Treble Cone is a must do! Relax in your harness as your pilot takes you on a smooth, serene flight to experience pure flying! On a clear day you can appreciate views of the Southern Alps, Lake Wanaka, The Twin Waterfalls and the surrounding mountains. During the flight you will soar along the Matukituki valley walls and beside the twin waterfalls, listening to the cascading water as you soar above. For the descent choose the gentle option or the more thrilling aerobatic option for the ultimate rush.

The Wanaka Paragliding pilots are some of the most experienced in the world. They are 100% certified by the New Zealand Civil Aviation Authority and follow strict regulations to ensure the safety of the equipment, pilots and your entire flying experience.

Other Information

• You must wear closed in footwear ie trainers. No open toe footwear
• Max weight is 90kgs & minimum weight requirement is 25kgs
• Photo & video options available for purchase on the day
• Dress warmly as the air can be cold once you start flying, especially in winter
• Flights are weather dependent & will be assessed by your pilot on the day. Flying safely needs specific weather conditions. Treble Cone faces into the morning sun & has reliable early conditions so we encourage early morning bookings
• Suitable for people of all ages (moderate level of fitness and agility required)
• You may bring your own camera if it can be safely secured on your persons
