Which 5 wineries are included in the Gourmet tour please?
Comments
Hi Nicky, a typical Gourmet Tour would include a tasting at Gibbston Valley then a cheese and wine tasting at Carrick, lunch and wine tasting at Northburn, then a tasting at Mt Rosa and Mt Difficulty. This is just a general guide however if there are any specific wineries you would like to stop in at then just note them in the additional information field when you make your booking so your choices can be accomodated for.
Hi there,
Are you still running wine tours now? During winter? If the answer is yes,we are a group of 4 arriving into Queenstown next Saturday Sep 1st, so Sunday Sept 2nd would be the best day for us, what is your avaialbility for either the 'boutique' or the 'gourmet' tours. Of those two which would you recommend for this time of year.
Regards, Sue Hudson

Hi Sue,
Yes the Appellation Wine Tours are absolutely running through the Winter and are very popular.
There is availability on that day, however please book in advance as some tours like this are very popular, esp say if say the weather turns bad and the ski/snowboarders decide to do an activity!
Both tours are great to be honest. If you are just looking for a nice relaxing day out the boutique tour is great and certainly will not disappoint. However if you are only in Queenstown for a limited amount of time and really wan to make the most of your time, splash out and go for the gourmet tour as this will be a brilliant day out with plenty of great food, wine and educational information. If I had to choose again I would go for the gourmet tour as it gives you more time to enjoy the day and more great wine spots to visit.
However either way you will not be disappointed.
Kind regards,
Nigel
Hi There,
Does the Boutique Tour include lunch? And does it visit the under ground wine caves?
Comments
Hi Kate, yes the Boutique Tour does include lunch at Carrick Winery. It does not include a visit to the under ground wine caves however, this is available on the Gourmet Tour.
Hi how many people if any on the boutique wine tour and how many hours is it for? cheers Keren
Hi Keren, the Boutique Wine tour departs at 12pm and returns at 5pm with a maximum of 11 people on the tour.
My wife and I will be coming to New Zealand at the end of this year and are interested in your all day wine tour. We are still in the planning stages and are trying to collect information. Will you have a tour available on Dec. 31? We're concerned that many wineries may be closed during the year-end period.

Hi John. There will definitely be a wine tour on the 31st December in Queenstown. This is the busiest time of year in Queenstown for activities and we recommend booking tours several weeks/months in advance.

Hi Tara. How old is your child? The Boutique Tour half day option offered by Appellation Central wine tours allows kids aged 6-17 years. Otherwise either the Original or Summer Sampler tours offered by Wine Trail allows kids but if you need a child seat then you need to bring your own. To be honest Tara, the wine tours are really suitable for kids in general as they'll just get bored most probably. There are a few child care centres in town that offer half day and full day child care if this is an option for you?
