High Country Trail Ride
Experience the rush the qualified dirt bikers get and test your skills on a 1.5 hour ride in the spectacular Kawarau Gorge. Take on the hill climbs, creek crossings, dirt bike MX track and the spectacular trails that link the Kawarau River to the mountains bordering the Kawarau Gorge. Tours are tailored to each individuals riding ability and are conducted in small groups so it doesn't matter if you are a novice or experienced dirt bikers the High Country Trail Ride is for everyone. No motorcycle licence is required but competency on a motorcycle must be shown before taking part in the tour. Late model 4-stroke 250cc dirt bikes are used with upgrades available to 4OOcc and 450cc bikes for an additional cost on the day.
