Start your day with a pick up in central Queenstown in a small group premium Mercedes vehicle (max 16 passengers). This is your method of transport for the first half of your day, a 4 hour scenic tour including the famous 45 minute drive along the banks of Lake Wakatipu from Queenstown to Glenorchy. The Glenorchy & Paradise Scenic Tour includes plenty of entertaining stories from your guide, as well as photo opportunities overlooking the lake and filming locations from movies & TV shows.
After arriving in Glenorchy, take the time to look around and explore landmarks such as 'The Red Shed', before continuing your tour into Paradise Valley. You won't believe the views! Surrounded by snow-capped mountains and braided rivers, enjoy a classic Kiwi morning tea and the chance to dress up in costumes and recreate scenes from movies such as Lord of the Rings. Having spent a fantastic morning exploring the area on land, it's now time to head back to Glenorchy for some free time before embarking on a thrilling 2 hour jet boat ride with Dart River Wilderness Jet.
On the Dart River Jet, prepare to be amazed as you race into Mt Aspiring National Park on shallow braided rivers surrounded by native forest. Feel the rush of adrenaline as the powerful jetboat performs thrilling 360 degree spins, twists and turns on the pristine waters of the Dart River. Your experienced jet boat driver will navigate the winding river, while sharing captivating stories about the region. Following the jet boat ride, Dart River Wilderness Jet will provide bus transfers from Glenorchy back to central Queenstown.

- The minimum height requirement for the Dart River Jet is 100cms (3ft) tall irrespective of child age. Can be raised to 1.2 metres with certain river conditions
- Lunch is not included, please bring a packed lunch with you. In summer months, you will have free time before checking in for your jet boat to purchase lunch in Glenorchy
- Your morning tea includes local delicacies such as cheese rolls, kiwi fruit, L&P, tea, coffee, and Whittakers chocolate
