hi how soon do we have to book this before it sells out . we will be there mid sept

We do recommend booking the Coronet tandem paragliding in Queenstown in advance. Usually a week or two is ample time however if you know which date you want to book then you may as well do it now so that you can lock it in. We do recommend booking for one of your first days in town as this is a weather dependent activity and can be cancelled due to high winds or low visibility. If it is cancelled then you can reschedule to another day or get a full refund. If you do book in advance and later on decide you wish to change the date or cancel then we can do this for you free of charge and issue you a full refund so long as you give us at least 48 hours notice.

Is there age restrictions?
Can 11y.o. kid ride?

Hi Inna, there isn't a minimum age for paragliding with Coronet Peak Tandems however there is a minimum weight restriction of 25kg. If your 11 year old is over 25kg then they can go paragliding.

I am planning to ski at Coronet Peak on 15th July. What is the quote for paragliding - coronet peak tandems should i be at the peak already (excluding transfer), and would it be possible to make it for the 2.30 flight should i be skiing in the morning.

Hi Jeanette. The cost for the winter paragliding flight in Queenstown is $205 per person. You also need to pay $15 for the chair lift ride to the summit of Coronet Peak although if you already have a ski pass for the day then you will not need to pay the $15 extra. I recommend flying in the morning as the winds can often pick up in the afternoon making conditions unsuitable for paragliding. You can then get taken back up the mountain to continue skiing for the rest of the day or brought back to town in the shuttle.

Hi, it says that "in-flight photos" are available, what about video? Is it possible to do a video recording of the flight experience?

I read on "Queenstown Tandem Paragliding from the Skyline Gondola Complex" website that video and photo of the flight experience are both available.

Does Coronet Peak Tandem Paragliding provide video recording, in addition to in-flight photos, too?

Thank you.

Hi SN, yes there is a video available of your experience however this is not included in the price and is an additional $45 which you can pay on the day. Photos are included in the price of the paragliding.
