This company made everything so easy for me to book our activities in Queenstown. They understood what we were looking for and explained the trips well. We had a fabulous time. Thank you😀

My son and I really enjoyed our Four Wheel Drive trip to Skippers Canyon. Our driver James was informative and made the trip very memorable. Thank you Nomad. We will recommend you to our friends. I see today that the Skippers road has been rated as 1 of the most dangerous. As someone who has just completed this trip I would have to say it is not scary but very beautiful. Both my son and I felt very safe.

The lady (Donna?) not very helpful on the phone

Our driver kept checking his cell phone, turning around to talk to us and to the guy in the front seat, instead of keeping his eyes on the road! This was done on Skippers road. So very scary, not only because of the road, but the lack of safety from the driver
Service rating:
The service was brilliant, the tour guide knowledgable and lovely person all round. Extremely helpful as well.

I can't wait to take the rest of my family on this trip to Macetown, well worth the money and my son and I really enjoyed ourselves.

Everything Travel Group Review
These guys have been operating trips into these remote and uniquely diverse areas for as long as anyone can remember. If the views and dramatic scenery does not wow you, then the drivers knowledge of the local area and history surely will. Their vehicles are kept in pristine condition and their are plenty of stops for taking photos and having a walk around. For the most intense 4wd trip make sure you book Macetown, otherwise if you are after a divers historical tour then go for the Skippers Canyon tour.

Latest Questions about Four Wheel Drive - Nomad Safari Skippers Canyon
What age group is this situable for?
Is it suitable for pregnant women?
Comments
The four wheel drive tours in Queenstown do not have an age restriction and in fact, kids under 5 travel for free. The Macetown and Skippers Canyon tours are not really suitable for pregnant women as they are quite bumpy at times and you move around a bit in the back of the vehicle. But the Safari of the Scenes Tour B (Glenorchy) is acceptable for pregnant women as its a really smooth ride without much off road, so long as you are not nearing the end of your pregnancy.
we will be traveling to Queenstown in Feb 2013. We have 5 adults & 1 Child on board. Can we book a private chartered for a half day Glenorchy (Tour B) tour? If yes, how many days in advance should we inform you? Most likely, our tour driver will help us in this.
Comments
Hi Ching, you certainly can book a private charter for the half day Glenorchy tour (Tour B). The cost will be $845 and you would need to book at least a few weeks in advance as February is a busy time.

Hi Denise. Thanks for taking the time to offer your feedback. I'm sorry that you found some of the information misleading on the booking voucher but I'm glad to hear you enjoyed the flight. We try and make the information on the vouchers and in our confirmation email as easy to understand as possible but sometimes this is not the case. We are always looking to improve our service so can you please provide some more specific information so we can rectify this for future customers. Thanks again for your comments.
