The Premium Ski & Snowboard Packages at Cardrona Alpine Resort are designed for those seeking a private skiing or snowboarding experience with one-on-one attention. Cardrona offers high-quality snow conditions with a variety of slopes suitable for all levels, making it the ideal location for private ski lessons from Queenstown or Wanaka. With the undivided focus of a certified Snow Sports School Instructor, you will have the freedom to perfect your skills and learn at your own pace.

There are two Premium Ski & Snowboard Packages available at Cardrona Alpine Resort, the Premium Family Private and the Premium Experience Private. Both packages include a full day (up to 6 hours) of Queenstown private ski lessons and hosting from a professional Snow Sports School instructor. Please note, lift passes and rentals are an additional cost.
The Premium Family Private package is perfect for families, offering a full-day experience for four (2 adults and 2 children), including locker facilities, a lesson report and a level certificate via email.
The Premium Experience Private package is suitable for couples or friends, including a full day of tuition, locker facilities, express lane access for rentals/ticketing, premium dining, photos/videos of your day (on request), alongside the lesson report and certificate.
Both packages require advance booking, with options to add additional guests. While lift passes and rentals are an additional cost, these premium packages ensure a memorable and exclusive skiing or snowboarding experience at Cardrona, complete with the comfort of premium amenities and personalised instruction.

- Express lane access for rentals and ticketing
- Premium 2-course dining at Mezz
- Photos & videos on the day (please request on the day)
- Written report cards and email certificates for younger skiers and snowboarders (adults on a request basis on the day)
- Add-ons (additional cost): lift pass, rental equipment, transfers, up to 3 additional guests
Duration
Departures
- Full day private lessons start at 9am
- Meet at the Cardrona Snowsports School meeting area (through the archway)
- Transfers are optional from Queenstown & Wanaka (these are not private transfers, please contact us for private transfers)
- 7.45am departure from Cardrona Queenstown shop, 37 Camp Street, Queenstown (returns around 5:30pm)
- 8.00am departure from Cardrona Wanaka shop, 50 Cardrona Valley Road (alternate pick up points available)
- Operates during winter (June - October)

- If adding transfers, bus transport departs Cardrona at 4:15pm
- Please note, Wanaka transfers to Cardrona are only available from 15th June - 29th September 2024
- If you are using rental equipment, this can be picked up from the Cardrona stores in Queenstown, Wanaka or at the ski field
- This package can also be used at Treble Cone, please let us know upon booking
