The Queenstown ski season is one of the best times to visit New Zealand’s home of adventure. From June to October, ski and snowboard enthusiasts make the most of popular Queenstown ski resorts, including Cardrona Alpine Resort. The uncrowded slopes, high quality terrain and fantastic cafes & restaurants make Cardrona a top destination for skiing Queenstown. In between visiting Queenstown ski fields, experience some of Queenstown’s most iconic activities with an evening soak at Onsen Hot Pools, thrills on the Shotover Jet and delicious dining at Walter Peak Station.

Duration

Departures

• Cardrona Alpine Resort opens 8:30am - 4:00pm (lift pass valid from first lifts)
• Shotover Jet departs daily 10:00am - 4:00pm
• Walter Peak BBQ Lunch & Lake Cruise departs daily at 11:00am & 1:00pm
• Onsen Hot Pools evening pools available daily 5:00pm - 10:00pm
• Operates during winter (June - October)

Other Information

• Please note the TSS Earnslaw Steamship is on annual survey in June. From 4th to 28th June 2024, a substitute motorised vessel will operate as a replacement on this tour for a reduced price
• Child rates available on request (please specify ages)
• Packages rates available for up to 4 adults. For larger group enquiries, please contact us.
• Multi day ski passes do not need to be used in consecutive days (must be used within validity window provided upon booking)
• Minimum height for Shotover Jet is 1 metre (3ft). This can change to 1.2 metres with certain river conditions.
• Jet boating photos are available to purchase in the retail shop after your ride
• Not suitable for pregnant women
